Letter: Wat returns feeling strong

Dear Editor, I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to our Richmond community for all the well wishes received over the past few weeks as I recovered from an injury sustained while making a personal visit in China.

Dear Editor,

I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to our Richmond community for all the well wishes received over the past few weeks as I recovered from an injury sustained while making a personal visit in China.

It’s been heartwarming to know so many people care about me and my successful return to health.

I was able to remain in constant contact with my office while I was away.

I was pleased to have made an official visit to Zhuhai at the end of October and to have led a delegation of 17 local aerospace companies to participate in the largest aerospace trade show in Asia.

Business agreements were achieved, which means more jobs will be created for British Columbia.

Your messages of support always had me looking forward to getting back to Richmond and British Columbia.

I’m pleased to say that I returned home the first week of November feeling strong in body, mind and spirit and I look forward to continuing to serve our community.

Teresa Wat
