Harvest Power has laid new pipes in its facility to oxygenate the compost. However, Metro Vancouver is asking for further odour mitigation efforts.

Re: “City won’t appeal permit,” News, Nov. 2.

Step one to curb reek: Stop telling people to put grease and oil into the green bins;

Step two: Drop 10 kilos of red wiggler composting worms onto the pile.

Then you will become a welcome and appreciated part of Richmond’s community of people and businesses.

Or, just keep trying to skimp costs and lose the profits gained through fines and/or lawsuits.
