Letter: The cost of doing business in Richmond

Dear Editor, Re: “Richmond home fined $2,000 for operating as illegal hotel,” News , Aug. 22. The homeowner rents out four suites from $120, which means they can earn more than $2,000 in less than a week. The fine is the cost of doing business.

The homeowner rents out four suites from $120, which means they can earn more than $2,000 in less than a week.

The fine is the cost of doing business. Even after paying the fine, it is still very lucrative.
