Letter: Richmond city council need to justify ALR decisions

Dear Editor, It was very disappointing to read that council, except Mayor Brodie and councillors Steves and Day, again voted to allow mansions on farmland and effectively destroy ALR lands.

Dear Editor,

It was very disappointing to read that council, except Mayor Brodie and councillors Steves and Day, again voted to allow mansions on farmland and effectively destroy ALR lands. I think it is incumbent on those councillors voting in favour of mansions to explain their vision for Richmond. Voters need to know how they could possibly justify such a decision. Would you please run a piece getting each councillor to explain their vision? We need to understand.
