Dear Editor,

Re: “Deadly Distraction: They will see you, they will fine you,” Feature, March 17.

In response to Alan Campbell’s article, I believe the picture showing ‘this driver texting, and that driver talking on the phone’ isn’t too far from the truth, despite your readers’ poll, that reveals to the contrary.

Granted, the poll says it is not scientific, the results would not reflect anywhere near the truth.

In other words, the people who do talk or text on the phone while driving, generally don’t care about a law-abiding society or the safety of other driver’s lives around them.

Unfortunately, these distracted driver’s more-so-than-not would not care to read your articles or take your poll. The results of your poll shows what is to be expected from the people who care about their community and to keep up with the issues we face in Richmond (your readers).
