Re: “Racist flyer shocks Steveston residents,” News, Nov. 18.
I was extremely disheartened and disturbed to see the hateful, racist flyers distributed throughout our city last Thursday.
This does not represent the values we stand for as Canadians, British Columbians and Richmondites.
We, as Canadians, are better than this.
In our multicultural community, we should be building understanding, not advocating division.
Now, more than ever, citizens must work together.
We are far better off when we work, live, and play in a united community.
