Letter: Power seems to be going to Rangers' security's head

Letter writer Brendan Coyle not happy about kids movie heavies halting his progress in Steveston

Teenage superheroes are set to take over the streets of Steveson when shooting begins for the new Power Ranger feature film

Dea Editor,

I put up with the near constant filming in Steveston as it is good for the city.

However, the filming of Power Rangers recently had me doing a slow burn. Not sure how film crew security guards have the power to act like they are the police; arrogant and preventing me from walking down a street. Several people I know were repeatedly late for work due to the filming.

Why is their job deemed more important than anyone else’s?

I think Richmond requires an on-site controller for filming.
