On Sept. 14, I had the pleasure of attending a fundraiser for the Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada (formerly Chinese Mental Wellness Association of Canada). The event was held at a fantastic location — the Michael J Fox theatre in Burnaby.
The Community Mental Wellness Association of Canada (CMWAC) has its office right here in Richmond. They advocate for mental wellness on many levels, from awareness to counselling and support.
The fundraiser was an extravaganza of colour and music, with a great variety of acts. There was something for everybody.
Nathalie and I had a fantastic time, and we look forward to next year — their 20th anniversary show. Thank you CMWAC for an evening not to forget.
