Letter: McNulty is right on the money

Dear Editor, Further to Mr. McNulty’s excellent letter: it behooves all of us to remember, “The measure of a society’s greatness is in how it treats her weakest (poorest) members.

Dear Editor,

Further to Mr. McNulty’s excellent letter: it behooves all of us to remember, “The measure of a society’s greatness is in how it treats her weakest (poorest) members.”

Am I less involved in bettering Richmond because my income is below poverty level for a single person household while supporting my family of four?

I am grateful to have a subsidized townhouse (with stairs) and a job in spite of being in a wheelchair, but my concern goes to those hundreds who lack adequate housing right now, especially those who cannot get a job, some in wheelchairs.

Good on yas, Mr. McNulty. My voting for you was not in vain.
