Re: “Ikea, a place of harmony,” Letters, March 25.
Sabine Eiche’s cultural observations during a recent visit to Ikea in Richmond is a further reminder that phrases such as “Sale,” “Lowest Price!” and “No Tax!!” are universally understood and accepted uses of the English language that stretch across all cultural and racial barriers.
Nothing brings out the spirit of modern community with peace and unity quite like the lure of a franchise offering amazingly low prices!
