The Editor
The Friends of the Richmond Library held our Spring Sale over the weekend of March 25 and 26.
All proceeds of our sales benefit the Richmond Public Library and our members spend countless hours throughout the year gathering, sorting, pricing and packing books and putting on the spring and fall sale.
We want to especially thank Thompson Community Centre for providing such an excellent venue for our sale.
We also want to acknowledge Save on Foods at Terra Nova for their donation of the food and refreshments that fuel our volunteers over the weekend and to thank the student volunteers who assist us throughout the sale.
We also appreciate all the book lovers in our community who came out to purchase books and who made all our efforts over the past six months worthwhile.
We look forward to seeing everyone again on Oct. 7 and 8.
