Dear Editor,
...and there she was, our first impression of our little bundle of joy ... dark, hairy, and slippery, born Monday April 4, 2016 at Richmond Hospital.
I’d like to write this letter to thank all the doctors, pediatricians, nurses, lab technicians, operation room nurses, medical students, cafeteria staff and support staff at the hospital for helping to bring little miracles into this world every day.
The doctors we met were knowledgeable, competent and friendly. The nurses who cared for us were like coaches; teaching, cheering and encouraging us in how to feed, burp, change, and care for our little miracle.
My husband and I would especially like to thank Dr. Brenda Wagner and Dr. Sarah Monahan for their expert care in delivering and overseeing our pregnancy, as well as Becky, Roswitha, Heather, Simone, Isabel, Crystal and Yuko, among all the nurses who went above and beyond to ensure the physical well being and comfort during our delivery and recovery.
We are very blessed to have such an excellent first class birthing centre in our community.
Thank you for taking care of bringing our future generation into this world!
