Dear Editor,
I am writing to express my gratitude and respect to the good people of Richmond!
Last Tuesday, Oct. 20, I had lunch at the food court at Lansdowne Centre with several old friends.
We had a good lunch and exchanged many stories and memories. Two days later, I could not find my little tablet computer!
After searching everywhere, my wife and I went to the Lansdowne Centre with the faint hope someone had found my computer and turned it in.
The security/info desk had the computer!
The cleaning staff or one of the families using the food court had turned it in.
It’s easy to be cynical and think the worst of people — that someone would have kept a valuable piece of electronics for themselves — so it was very gratifying to experience the honesty of fellow Richmondites.
