Dear Editor,

Re: “Grocery store option coming to Steveston,” News Oct. 21

I believe that having another grocery store in Steveston would be extremely beneficial for some of the new residents living in the Steveston area.

For people living near the Steveston neighborhood, this could be very useful to have the more convenient option closer to home.

I also think that a second grocery store would do very well in a busy place like Steveston. With the new homes and the teenagers who visit Steveston, the grocery store will most likely be really busy almost all the time.

I think that if a grocery store does move into Steveston, then it should have a special variety of organic or health conscious foods. By having these specialty options in the store, I think that this would give them a bit of a competitive edge over the veteran business, Super Grocer.
