Dear Editor,

The Friends of the Richmond Library held one of its most successful book sales ever last weekend.

We want to thank Thompson Community Centre for providing such an excellent venue for our sale. We also want to thank all our members who spend countless hours throughout the year sorting and packing books and who volunteer their weekend to put on the sale.

We want to acknowledge Save on Foods at Terra Nova for their donation of food and refreshments for our volunteers and the student volunteers who assist us throughout the sale.

We also appreciate all the book lovers in our community who came out to purchase books and who made all our efforts over the past six months worthwhile.

All proceeds of our sales benefit the Richmond Public Library. We also believe strongly in providing members of our community with low-cost reading material, especially for children.
