Dear Editor,
The Liberal Attack signs on Highway 99, south of the Massey Tunnel, do two things:
1. They distract drivers and potentially cause accidents.
2. They misinform the public.
Our new government has wisely chosen to review the Massey Tunnel project to best determine how to move forward and reduce traffic congestion. An educated decision is a smart decision, and I appreciate that my tax dollars will be spent appropriately.
The Liberal attempt to circumvent the review process is a lame attempt to fool the public and play on people’s frustration.
If the Liberals would just work with the NDP and Greens, they could be part of an effective process to determine the best possible solutions to traffic congestion.
Our province needs MLAs who respect their constituents and work hard to inform them instead of trying to manipulate them.
These self-serving signs are just a political game, and I have no respect for that. Shame on you.
