Letter: Ask yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago?

Dear Editor, The late U.S.

Letter writer Ray Arnold suggests some complaining parents need to do more homework before voting for the likes of Christy Clark

Dear Editor,

The late U.S. president Ronald Reagan would say, prior to each election, “Ask yourself one simple question, am I better off than I was four years ago?”

So Richmondites, are students better off? Are seniors better off? Are people making minimum wage better off? Is housing affordability better? Are walk-in clinics and our medical services better? Are government services affordable?

We are reminded by the incumbent B.C Liberal government that in order to have substainable services we need a strong economy. Well, according to the B.C. Liberals, we’ve had the best economy in Canada for the past four years. So, are you better off than four years ago?
