I awoke to such a beautiful cover of Shyama Pryia, renowned powwow dancer, gracing the Richmond News on June 17. Reporter Graeme Wood wrote a great article that highlighted the rich histories of the Indigenous people in the community of Richmond.
I was so happy to read a positive account of the rich Aboriginal community in Richmond where they are working towards inspiring and educating the greater community as they join together in celebration of the year of reconciliation.
