The unsightly mess in the informal and unpaved parking lot across from the upscale River Rock Casino and Hotel is getting worse by the day.
It is especially unfortunate that this eyesore is situated in such a busy area. More illegally dumped construction waste is now littering this potholed lot that tourists, workers from nearby businesses, transit users, and visitors to the night market traverse day and night, rain or shine.
More sidewalks around the perimeter are also needed to improve pedestrian movement around this lot.
Whoever is responsible for this unsightly and unsafe area needs to clean up, pave, and monitor the property sooner rather than later.
