Using these pictures of families so drivers will slow down; could it not do the reverse and distract them?
Better displays to attract drivers' attention is what's needed, such as: small flags along the road the vehicle will travel; flashing lights; small beacons and an extra line of posts between the workers and the road.
Partnering with the Motor Vehicle Branch is vital to work harder to emphasize to drivers what the rules are. What one has to do when going by construction is all part of getting a drivers license.
