The article by Matthew Claxton, is truly of the highest calibre.

The truth of the matter is apparent - that those of the "chattering class" who seek to govern us, have seldom, if ever, developed any callouses, or experienced anything like ardous or distasteful "work".

As one joke would have it, "Why is there always an assistant standing next to the politician when a ground-breaking ceremony is held?"

"Simple, he is there to make sure the politician puts the correct end of the shovel into the ground!"

Isn't it strange, when seeking our vote, like our Richmond MPs, they pose as the most open, honest and moral of individuals.

But, after achieving the position, they are no longer the representative of the people of Richmond, but a mouthpiece of Ottawa to the hopelessly dumb, unwashed electorate back home.

In any case, please convey my sincere congratulations to Claxton and my hope is for many more articles of this calibre.
