RE: "Take religion out of festival," Letters, July 6.
The Canada Day parade in Steveston is meant to celebrate Canada's heritage. How soon we forget the fact that Christian churches played the biggest role of any group in establishing and unifying this country.
The music and message that is presented is very positive and upbeat.
As for the Pro Life aspect, again the approach was hopeful and life affirming, which our country I believe still stands for.
