The Editor,
On Aug. 16, we spotted a pet carrier that had been thrown into the bush just off of Shell Road.
We were horrified to find it contained a white Persian cat with big yellow eyes, starving, dehydrated, and suffocating in its own waste.
Then, we discovered a second pet carrier deeper in the bush that was empty. We are sickened by this and want the person responsible to know their actions will not remain anonymous.
We pray this cat will survive and find a loving home.
