Bad choice for front page

The Editor, I am again shocked that a family newspaper seems to delight in putting all the dreadful news on their front page, such as, "Baseball bat thugs beat teens" and "Camera pervert exposed," News, Oct. 21.

The Editor,

I am again shocked that a family newspaper seems to delight in putting all the dreadful news on their front page, such as, "Baseball bat thugs beat teens" and "Camera pervert exposed," News, Oct. 21.

Then (you) select to place that beautiful story of "Quake survivor talks to schools," almost at the back of your paper.

In my view this places the Richmond News as an inferior paper!

You must think that people thrive with repulsive news rather than stories that inspire us all to become better citizens, making a difference.
