The Editor,

Re: "Online trumps in person," Letters, Nov. 30.

Mr. Ligtenberg is right - this was poor customer service and we apologize.

Our goal is to provide excellent customer service at every opportunity, and we are reviewing procedures with our staff to ensure that getting a library card is made as easy as possible.

I would like to invite Mr. Ligtenberg to come back to the library, where any one of our staff would be happy to help him get a library card and find great books and other material for him to borrow.
