Ontario Provincial Police say a woman is dead and her six-year-old daughter is injured after a two-vehicle highway crash in Milton, Ont., on Saturday morning.

Police say it happened just after 10 a.m. on Highway 401 near James Snow Parkway.

They say a 40-year-old woman from Cambridge, Ont., was driving eastbound when she struck the guide rail, and her car was then hit by a pickup truck.
