BRAMPTON — Peel police say one person is dead and another is injured following a shooting last night in Brampton, Ont.
Police responded to reports of gunshots at around 8:40 p.m. on Bayhampton Drive and located two victims with gunshot wounds.
They say one victim was pronounced dead on the scene while the other person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Peel police say the homicide unit is investigating.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects.
They say it is believed to be an isolated incident.
