Police say one person dead after a single-vehicle crash in Mississauga

MISSISSAUGA — Police say one person died after a single-vehicle collision in Mississauga, Ontario. Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened on Highway 410 near Courtneypark Drive East at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

MISSISSAUGA — Police say one person died after a single-vehicle collision in Mississauga, Ontario.

Ontario Provincial Police say the crash happened on Highway 410 near Courtneypark Drive East at around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

They say officers responded to a report of a passenger vehicle hitting the center median of the highway.

Investigators say a 22-year-old man, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

They say the section of the highway, which was closed for several hours, has since reopened.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
