Missing child found Saturday in critical condition dies: Peel police

MISSISSAUGA — Peel Regional Police say a missing child found Saturday in critical condition has died. Police were called to the area of Mississauga's Erindale Park, near Mississauga Road and Dundas Street, just after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

MISSISSAUGA — Peel Regional Police say a missing child found Saturday in critical condition has died.

Police were called to the area of Mississauga's Erindale Park, near Mississauga Road and Dundas Street, just after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

They say first responders found a young child in the area, who was taken to a local hospital.

The child was pronounced dead on Sunday.

An investigation is ongoing.

Police say that due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, they will not provide further information.
