Original story below

A crash near No. 8 Road is causing major delays for commuters Wednesday morning.

The crash occurred at No. 8 Road and eastbound Highway 91, blocking the left lane. Traffic is currently backed up to No. 5 Road and building.

The 301 Brighouse/Newton Exchange bus is also facing delays in both directions due to the crash and has been re-routed heading towards Newton Exchange, according to TransLink. The bus will follow its normal route until Alderbridge Way and Shell Road, then will go down Shell Road, Westminter Highway to the onramp and Highway 91, where it will resume its regular route.

Another crash on the north end of the Arthur Laing Bridge, southbound, has backed traffic all the way up Marine Drive near Main Street in Vancouver.

And commuters heading out of Richmond over the Oak Street Bridge aren’t faring much better: traffic is currently backed up along Highway 99 to No. 5 Road.
