Canadian international Jessie Fleming through to League Cup final with Chelsea

KINGSTON UPON THAMES, United Kingdom — Defending champion Chelsea reached the final of the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup with a 6-0 win over West Ham on Wednesday. The semifinal featured Canadian internationals on both sides.

KINGSTON UPON THAMES, United Kingdom — Defending champion Chelsea reached the final of the FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup with a 6-0 win over West Ham on Wednesday.

The semifinal featured Canadian internationals on both sides. Forward Adriana Leon started for West Ham while midfielder Jessie Fleming came off the Chelsea bench in the second half.

Bristol City beat Leicester City 1-0 in the later semifinal Wednesday, setting up a March 14 final at Watford's Vicarage Road stadium that pits Chelsea, top of the FA Women's Super League standings with a 10-0-2 record, against bottom-place Bristol (1-9-2). 

West Ham stands 10th in the 12-team league at 2-8-1.

Danish star striker Pernille Harder scored a hat-trick for Chelsea while Sophie Ingle, Bethany England and Fran Kirby added singles.
