Kyzen Loo scored once and set up three others to power the Richmond Sockeyes to their ninth consecutive victory with a 7-2 defeat of the North Vancouver Wolf Pack on Saturday night.

The 19-year-old Seafair product helped the visitors jump out to a commanding 4-0 lead after 20 minutes by figuring in on three of the goals. Captain Patrick Hunter scored twice, while Jeremy Hamaguchi, Justin Rai and Dominic Centis had the others. Rai continues to lead the Pacific International Junior Hockey League in scoring with 22 points in nine games, including 10 goals.

On his heels is teammate Carter Popoff as the rookies had a big night in Richmond's 4-1 home ice win over the Grandview Steelers last Thursday.

The visitors actually enjoyed a 1-0 after the first period when Rai and Popoff went to work. Rai factored in on all four goals, including a pair himself, while Popoff scored once and assisted on another.

The Sockeyes (9-0-0) return to action Thursday when the Port Moody Black Panthers visit Minoru Arena at 7: 30 p.m. in a battle of conference leaders.
