Four young wrestlers from a Richmond club came out on top at last weekend's high school provincials.
Coaches and families of athletes at Bhullar Wrestling Club are ecstatic after the club achieved its most successful team haul ever at the provincial level during this year's BC Provincial High School Wrestling Championships
Micah Calapiz, Riley Jhuty and Kaiya Mannapso won gold for the 54 kg boys, 57 kg boys and 64 kg girls divisions, respectively.
Meanwhile, Tiana Medieros took home silver for 47 kg girls.
The championships were held from Feb. 23 to 24 at the PNE Forum in Vancouver and saw young male and female wrestlers compete in 31 weight classes.
