Richmond Jets Bantam C3 Vipers celebrated the holiday season by capturing their division at the Richmond Jets Marriott YVR Bantam Midget Juvenile C Tournament.
The event featured nine entries in the Bantam age group. The Vipers went undefeated (3-0-1) in round-robin play, setting up a semi-final match-up with Vancouver Thunderbird C5. A tight game went into overtime with the Vipers prevailing 2-1.
The final against the Vancouver Thunderbird C7 saw Richmond leading 3-0 after one period before rocking the game with eight unanswered goals in an 8-4 victory. The game was finished by great team defence, strong goaltending and powerful goals by the forwards.
The Vipers roster features: Will Reid-Friesen, Nathan Choo, Shaun Johal, Hudson Rogier, Thomas Bakker, Ethan West, Konrad Linden, Liam Harrington, Matthew Johansen, Nathan Chu, Gabriel Ng, Jason Johal, Owen Harrington, Taqee Hussain, Roberto Selles, Seth Reehal and Lucas Turner.
The coaches are Sean Harrington, Gerald Linden and James Linden.
