Reyond Lucky Ancheta, left and Andree Bonifacio, both 12, meet Ellen DeGeneres after their live dance routine.

Two young Richmond dancers took the Ellen DeGeneres Show by storm last week.

The pair of 12-year-olds — Andree Bonifacio (known as AC) and Reyond Lucky Ancheta (known as Lucky) — make up the dance duo Lucky Aces, a product of Richmond-based Fresh Groove dance studio.

The hip-hopping kids danced to DJ Snake’s "Turn Down For What," wowing the talk show host and her live audience, who came to their feet to cheer them on.

In a breathless post-dance interview, which can be seen on YouTube, the kids told DeGeneres how they got their stage names and how they would, one day, love to be back-up dancers for Ariana Grande.

To thank them for coming on the show, DeGeneres handed them a pair of VIP passes to an Ariana Grande concert coming up in Vancouver.

Fresh Groove studio director Cesar Tantoco told media the memory of the performance will last long for Lucky Aces.

“We had a really, really awesome time at the Ellen show, and it was really mind blowing for the kids to be at the Ellen show,” he said.

Ancheta said his parents called him Lucky because he survived a premature birth.

The pair also performed to English rapper Tinie Tempah’s "Trampoline," which DeGeneres didn't have time to air, but it on the show’s YouTube channel.

Lucky Aces has, in the past, impressed local crowds, including making the finals of a PNE (Pacific National Exhibition) talent competition in 2013.
