Year of the Dog feature: Leo

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, we are featuring lovely dogs in Richmond throughout February. Today’s dog is Leo, a Catahoula leopard, Raechel’s buddy. Let’s take a look at what Raechel had to say about him.

Owner's note: Life with our Leo is amazing! We adopted Leo from his first family when he was just one and he has filled our Steveston home with joy ever since.   Leo loves people and would make a terrible guard dog as he makes friends with everybody.  He entertains us with his post meal “rodeos” on the bed and is also known for his signature twirls when he is happy, which is pretty much all the time.

dog leoAlthough he was born here in Canada, this breed originates from Louisiana and is the official State Dog.  Leo loves the outdoor parks in the Richmond area and we live not far from the South No. 3 Road Bark Park.  He also enjoys his outings to the dog beaches in Vancouver.
