Wind storm causes outage in East Richmond.

A wind storm caused power to go out in East Richmond early Friday morning.

More than 400 East Richmond residents were without power since early Friday morning.

The windstorm on Thursday night leading to Friday affected 432 BC Hydro customers leaving them still without power on Friday since 1 a.m.

The area affected includes west of River Road, south of Mill Bay Road, east of Viking Way and north of Highway 91.

BC Hydro crew has been assigned with no estimate time of when the power will return.
