Community Fair for Karalyn at Whiteside Elementary School
Raise funds to help Karalyn and her family as she recovers from brain cancer. Most classes at Whiteside will make crafts to sell, and we have multiple Whiteside family businesses donating or renting tables to raise money for Karalyn. Hot dogs, bubble tea, pizza and more! All funds raised will go to Karalyn's family.

Free tax clinic at Richmond Public Library (Brighouse Branch)
With the tax season officially open, the Richmond Public Library and Family Christian Fellowship are offering free income tax clinics for low income families. To qualify for this free service, individuals must have a maximum income of $30,000 and a couple must have a maximum income of $40,000 plus $2,500 per child. Continuing the tradition of the Steveston winter farmers’ market as a local attraction and a gathering place for our neighbouring community, the Cannery Farmers’ Market provides an opportunity for local food producers and artisans to showcase their products, which follow the “Make it, Bake it, Grow it, Catch it” philosophy. Only approved products that are made, baked, grown, raised, caught or harvested by B.C. vendors can be sold.
