A bush next to a residential building was set on fire in Richmond on Saturday afternoon.
Richmond resident Shenwei Wang said the bush outside the building of 6380 Buswell St., near Buswell Steeet and Saba Road, appeared to have been set on fire by someone shortly before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 1.
Wang told the Richmond News a neighbour from 6371 Cooney Rd. was able to extinguish the fire with a garden hose prior to Richmond Fire-Rescue arriving on scene.
The News has reached out to Richmond Fire-Rescue for comment.
