Richmond RCMP are appealing for people with information to come forward after a suspicious fire tore threw an under-construction home.
Richmond Fire-Rescue was called out to the blaze at around 1 a.m. on Friday in the 11800-block of Flury Drive in the north of the city, just south-east of No. 5 and Bridgeport roads.
Damage to the single-family home, which appeared to be almost finished, was “extensive,” according to police, who were called in by the fire department to investigate.
One neighbour, who asked not to be named, said she heard a loud "bang" around about 1 a.m.
