Two more Richmond residents were among the four charged Wednesday for alleged involvement in last year's Stanley Cup riot.

Charges against a 17-year-old young offender and 25-year-old Jamil Sunderji were formally approved by the Crown, bringing the number of Richmond residents charged in connection with the riots up to six.

Sunderji was charged with participating in the riot and with mischief over $5,000.

The 17-year-old, whose identity is protected under the Youth Justice Act, was charged with participating in the riot and mischief.

Surrey resident James Ca Ha, 21, was also charged with participation in the riot and breaking and entering, and another 17-year-old from North Vancouver was charged with participation in the riot and two counts of mischief over $5,000.

The Crown has laid 186 charges against 71 suspected rioters so far, of the 348 charges recommended against 150 suspected rioters by the Vancouver Police Department's Integrated Riot Investigation Team.

Meanwhile, RCMP officers in Richmond have been promoting a poster campaign aimed at identifying additional riot suspects.

On March 8, officers visited four secondary schools to distribute posters for the "Busted! Riot Roundup 2." Each of the four officers spent an hour passing out the posters on a sidewalk beside the schools, handing out about 1,000 in total.
