Three new COVID-19 cases in Richmond detected in past week

There have been a total of 116 cases of COVID-19 detected in Richmond since the beginning of the pandemic in March with three new ones detected in the past week. Last week there were nine new cases detected in Richmond.

Those needing COVID-19 testing can go to the drive-through testing site in the parking lot of the Richmond Tennis Club on Gilbert Road.

There have been a total of 116 cases of COVID-19 detected in Richmond since the beginning of the pandemic in March with three new ones detected in the past week.

Last week there were nine new cases detected in Richmond.

The BC Centre for Disease Control released its latest numbers on Thursday afternoon.

The number of cases of the virus has been on the rise in B.C. over the past couple weeks with 80 new ones reported over the past 24 hours. 

The total number of cases of deaths in B.C. hit a milestone of 200 on Thursday.

Vancouver Coastal Health announced it is expanding its testing hours at the Richmond Assessment Centre, located in the parking lot of the Richmond Tennis Club at 6820 Gilbert Rd.
