Gateway Theatre announced this years Jessie Richardson Award nominees Thursday morning.
A few of the nominees are as follows:
For Outstanding performance by an actress in a supporting role (Large theatre)
- Sarah Carlé in Steel Magnolias in association with Chemainus Theatre Festival
- Luisa Jojic in All Shook Up in association with Chemainus Theatre
For outstanding set design (Large theatre)
- Drew Facey in Steel Magnolias in association with Chemainus Theatre
For outstanding performance by an actress in a lead role (Small theatre)
- Nicola Elbro in Marys Wedding
For outstanding set design (Small theatre)
Lauchlin Johnston in Marys Wedding
The Colin Campbell Award for Excellence in Technical Theatre
- Brian Heath, Gateway Theatre production manager and technical director.
The Colin Campbell Award for Excellence in Technical Theatre will be awarded annually to an individual at any stage of their career who has displayed excellence and commitment to the field of professional technical theatre in Greater Vancouver Area through their body of work.
