Richmonds Carol Zhang sat up one night drinking coffee and pondering the worlds fragile ecosystem.
But what was a 17-year-old to do?
Well, the budding artist recruited her two good friends, Cassie Chuang and Helena Rong and came up with the idea of an exhibition showcasing sustainability solutions and issues.
The three talented J N Burnett Secondary students all members of the schools Green Team displayed their artistic skills to their community. Ten of their recent artworks, which revolve around the theme of sustainability, are on exhibit at Thompson Community Centre.
They hope to captivate the audience with a fresh new perspective on sustainability by uniting people, Earth and art. Their show opened on March 2 and continues until April.
