South Delta Secondary is the home of the Wampus Cats. Well, temporarily at least.
The Tsawwassen high school got a bit of a makeover with a film crew in town, being transformed into Osborne High School.
The electronic reader board sign had a ‘Go Wampus Cats!’ message.
The SDSS Facebook page noted the school’s parking lot, exterior, and school sign will be used for a “Netflix film production” from Aug. 23 to 27.
“Don't be alarmed when the sign reads "Go Wampus Cats," "School is Cancelled," and "Back in Session," the post from Aug. 23 read. “SDSS will be open for school preparation all next week and for our first day of classes on September 3rd!”
A school district spokesperson wouldn’t share any more information about the production.
A film crew member wouldn’t say what was being filmed Monday.
