Schools will remain open on Friday despite snow falling in some parts of the Lower Mainland, according to an early morning tweet sent out by the school district.

According to Environment Canada, there is light snow in Richmond but highs are expected to five degrees Celsius.
Environment Canada is warning of high winds this morning.
