Children in Richmond are expected to be in bed by 8:30 p.m. and on their best behaviour in order for Santa Claus to deliver gifts underneath their Christmas tree.
NORAD is tracking Santa who has already successfully delivered gifts to children in Australia.
Santa is expected to fly over Richmond anytime between 9 p.m. and midnight, according to NORAD.
The Santa tracking system has spotted the Big Guy over Russia, India and parts of Africa as of 3 p.m. PST. He had already delivered 3.6 billion gifts.
NORAD tracks Santa with radar, satellites, jet fighters and SantaCams placed strategically around the world.
Santa’s nine reindeer are led by Rudolph and his special red nose.
Children may leave snacks out for Santa because he gets very tired and hungry during his trip.
