How would you feel if you found out you had just won $1 million on the lottery?
Well, one Richmond resident was understandably “surprised” when she checked her Lotto 6/49 ticket at the Admiralty Centre on McKim Way, close to Cambie and Garden City roads.
After realizing she had won, Sun Jie said that she believes “anything is possible” after buying the ticket at the last minute from the pharmacy at the No. 3 Road Superstore for the May 10 draw.
Despite her faith in all things being possible, Jie said her family took a little more time for the big win to sink in.
“My family couldn’t believe I won that kind of money,” said Jie. “They thought it was unbelievable!”
Jie is taking some time to decide what’s next but plans to take her family on a nice trip — Japan is one option she is considering.
