With Black Friday sales appearing in stores, several Richmond shopping centres are extending their opening hours to help make shopping more efficient on Nov. 29.
This Friday, Richmond Centre and McArthur Glen Outlet stores will open their doors at 8 a.m., while Lansdowne Centre will be open at 7 a.m. However, the three shopping areas will close at their usual time of 9 p.m.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen Centre will running regular hours from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Last year, Black Friday sales hit its peak with more than 250 transactions made per second at 2 p.m. – total number of transactions was at its highest between 2 to 5 p.m. – according to data from Moneris Canada.
