A haunted maze and a life-size school of witchcraft and wizardry are just some of the tricks Aberdeen Centre is pulling out of its hat.

It's time for witches and wizards in Richmond to dust off their wands and practice their spells — Halloween is almost here.

For those who can't wait to celebrate this eerie holiday, Aberdeen Centre's haunted maze and school of witchcraft and wizardry are open now until Oct. 31.

Apart from the spooky decorations, Potterheads will also be surprised to find Harry Potter-inspired elements sprinkled throughout the installations.

The maze and wizardry school display are open from 3 to 5 p.m. on Mondays to Thursdays, and 1 to 5 p.m. on Fridays to Sundays for sessions up to 15 minutes.

Game tickets are required to access the two installations, which can be redeemed at customer service with a same-day purchase receipt of $10 or more before tax.

More activities will also be available on Halloween weekend, including a free magic show, creepy balloons from a balloon artist and face painting on Oct. 30, as well as trick or treating in the mall on Oct. 31. Details can be found on Aberdeen Centre's website.
